When Knightsbridge shopping pales, the Nag's Head on it's mews takes you back to Dickens's times with wonderful wood paneling, a nifty bar designed for the "height impaired", toddler stools and low ceilings that define cozy. The name reflects the fact that the mews were set up for horses and carriages as sort of back alleys and the Nobles didn't drink with the help. So with that proper sense of Noblesse Oblige this pub was set up for the help. Only in England! Nearest underground: Hyde Park Corner Hours: Mon-Sat 11.00-23.00 Sundays 12.00-22.30
